Minimum interest rate BVG

The minimum interest rate is the interest rate set by the Federal Council that must be paid as a minimum on the BVG retirement assets of the pension funds. The returns on various forms of investment such as bonds, shares and real estate are taken into account. For 2023, the minimum interest rate is 1%. For the extra-mandatory pension assets, on the other hand, the interest rate is decided by the Board of Trustees.
