BVG

The Federal Law on Occupational Retirement, Survivors’ and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) regulates occupational pension plans as part of the second pillar of the Swiss pension system. The BVG is a framework law with minimum standards that has existed since 1985. It was supplemented in 1995 by the Vested Benefits Act and the Home Ownership Promotion Act.
