Whether it’s banking, investing, or retirement planning, these days you manage your finances with just a few clicks. In general, a large part of life now takes place somewhere between the small and the bigger screen.
Visiting a bank advisor has also become a rather rare occurrence. But there is one downside: back in the day, you could often pick up a free Jass card set while you were there.
Playing Jass is as Swiss as chocolate, raclette, or watches. Or like fireworks on the Swiss National Day. That’s why, for the occasion, we’re offering something truly Swiss and deliberately analogue: the VIAC Jass cards.
But simply printing a basic logo on the back wouldn’t have been enough for us. So we asked our designers to completely reimagine the cards from scratch, recreating them with great attention to detail and bringing the designs to life with the VIAC family, just as they appear in our app, on our website, and across our social media.
What do you prefer? French or Swiss-German playing cards?
Everyone knows the “Röstigraben.” But an even bigger influence on everyday life in Switzerland is the Jass divide. It determines which cards are used to play Jass. In Central and Eastern Switzerland, people tend to play with Swiss-German cards, while in the rest of the country, French-suited cards are more common.
So that no one has to play with the “wrong” cards, we’ve produced both versions in the VIAC style. And since the French set includes a full 56 cards, it’s also perfect for playing a variety of other card games.
